tragic week after losing two great footballers within a week

The Footballers and Allied Workers Union Of Zambia (FAWUZ) is profoundly saddened by the recent tragic losses within the football community. Collard Mulenga, a footballer from Nakonde Town Council FC, and Norin Betani, a talented striker for Copper Queens and Indeni Roses FC, have left an indelible mark on the sport.



Collard Mulenga's contribution to Nakonde Town Council FC will be remembered, and Norin Betani's passing during National duty is a heartbreaking loss for the entire football fraternity. FAWUZ extends heartfelt condolences to their families, the Football Association Of Zambia, Indeni Roses FC Management, teammates, and friends.


During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the late players' families, friends, both on and off the field, as well as with the Football Association Of Zambia and everyone associated with Indeni Roses FC. May the departed souls of Collard Mulenga and Norin Betani find eternal peace. The football community stands united in grief, cherishing the memories of these remarkable athletes
