FIFPRO's change of guard, as Argentina's Sergio Marchi elected president
FIFPRO, the world professional footballers union has ushered in new leadership with Argentina's Sergio Marchi taking the reigns as President at the ongoing 2024 General Assembly.
Africa Division president and former Cameroon international Geremi Njitap announced on behalf of the board that Marchi had been elected as President and will oversee leadership of the global union for the next four years.
The new Secretary General, Alex Phillips, a former executive at UEFA, was also unveiled.
