RAINFORD KALABA IS DRC’S BEST FOREIGN PLAYER OF ALL TIME
Africa Cup of Nations 2012 winner Rainford Kalaba will retire from active football with a record as the best foreign player to have graced the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The former Chipolopolo midfielder has a litany of accolades hauled during his almost two decades as a Zambian star.
A native of Mufulira, Kalaba made TP Mazembe his home and with the Lubumbashi side picked up silverware no other foreign player in that country has done.
For his loyalty, dedication and devotion to the African giants, Kalaba will be promoted to learn the coaching ropes under the tutelage of Senegalese trainer Lamine Ndiaye.
