FAZ pledged to strengthen collaboration with FAWUZ

THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has pledged to strengthen collaboration with the Football and Allied Workers Union FAWUZ) in the quest for development of the sport in the country.
FAZ general secretary Mr. Reuben Kamanga made the undertaking when Board members of FAWUZ led by Union President Mr. Sandras Kumwenda, Vice-President Mr. Noel Mwandila, General Secretary, Mr Joe Kaunda, Treasurer Mr. Kelvin Mushipe, Legal counsel, Mr. Friday Mwandila paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kamanga and Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Joseph Chipampwe at Football House on Tuesday, 20 June, 2023.
FAWUZ President Mr. Kumwenda thanked FAZ for accommodating Union and added committed to furthering the collaboration with the Association.
The meeting focused on how the two institutions can work together to promote and grow football in Zambia, also to operationalize the Memorandum of Understanding that the two share.
Among the topics during the meeting was the relationship building between FAWUZ and FAZ, including how to involve the Union in the FAs activities.
The Board also unveiled Mr. Kaunda as the newly appointed general secretary of FAWUZ.
