FAWUZ SENDS OFF CHAN SQUAD
Footballers and Allied Workers Union of Zambia (FAWUZ) General Secretary Mr Linos Chalwe gives words of encouragement to the Zambian CHAN squad going to Cameroon, he believes the squad will make us proud because he has so much confidence in the team as you are all.
He further stated that football is unique and does not lie, if you put in your best performance it will show on the pitch, speaking last evening at the Chipolopolo’s base he said to the player's ,as they go for the tournament they should be aware that firstly they are flag bearers of Zambia,playing for their families and 18,383,955 Zambian Citizens,lastly playing for themselves.
He also quoted Coach Wedson's pre-match team talk,in which he eluded the importance of intervention,God is a God of second Chance.
As you go to participate in this tournament it is not just your second chance but your first opportunity to be Scouted by the high profile clubs across the globe,because the chan tournament is a shopping window for clubs as evidenced by Zambian player's who where Recruited in the past CHAN tournament for outstanding individual and collective performances.
As you are aware,FAWUZ is here to serve you in good and bad times,football has got three results Win Draw and Lose.
Whether in good or bad results we are here to Serve you.Most importantly lets be Hardworking,Prayerful and United cause nothing beats Unity and Hardwork.
