October 13, 2019FAWUZ Honered Kalusha Bwalya (THE GREAT KALU)with a FAWUZ GOLD STAR CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION for his contribution to Zambian football at the Luapuala Provincial Administration organized Football match between the KK11 led by Kalusha Bwalya and Chipolopolo lads led by Christopher Katongo. This match is organized to honor Kalusha Bwalya as part of the Summerfest in Samfya.

The aim of FAWUZ is to protect, improve and negotiate the conditions, rights and status of players and allied workers. Zambia joins other nations in SADC such as South Africa,Botswana,Zimbabwe and Namibia to form a soccer players union. These unions have been formed across Africa and throughout the world.
