The Footballers and Allied Workers Union of Zambia (FAWUZ)held a successful Quadrennial Congress at the Eastern Moon Hotel in Lusaka.

Speaking at the Congress on behalf of the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development, Director of Sports Dr. John Zulu said he was delighted to be part of the FAWUZ AGM in which you are looking into the aspect of its Constitution and asher an Exco with Female members.
He urged FAWUZ to continue to improve the working conditions and standards of living for the players.

Dr. Zulu further stated the Ministry of Sports will continue to support the Union in its quest to Protect, Provide and Promote the interest and welfare of Footbalers and  Allied staff in order to better the lives of our athletes and citizens.
