Another Zambian striker and FAWUZ member Fashion Sakala JR join the Scottish Premier League side Rangers on a four-year deal this summer. Rangers have secured the signature of Sakala from the Belgian side KV Oostende. Sakala who has scored 13 goals for KV Oostende in the Belgian top-flight this season told the Rangers’ official website that he is excited to start a new journey with one of the greatest clubs in the world.

The aim of FAWUZ is to protect, improve and negotiate the conditions, rights and status of players and allied workers. Zambia joins other nations in SADC such as South Africa,Botswana,Zimbabwe and Namibia to form a soccer players union. These unions have been formed across Africa and throughout the world.
